Dr. David Kimber
David has 30 years experience in the Chiropractic health care profession. Lecturing to Chiropractic students early on in his career and operating his own private practice for 28 years. His passion is Chiropractic care for the whole family and he is looking forward to offering his patients a greater variety of therapies to help assist them with all their natural health care needs.
Dr. Harley Rushton
Dr Harley Rushton is a graduate of the prestigious New Zealand College of Chiropractic (NZCC). Harley has worked in Auckland NZ and Cairns QLD before moving to Adelaide to join the Team here at Morphett Vale Chiropractic in 2015.
Harley is a second generation Chiropractor. His passions include his family, motorsport, basketball, golf, exercise and overseas travel. Growing up with regular Chiropractic care from a very young age has driven Harley to become a Chiropractor to help others live healthier lives.
Harley regularly engages in post-graduate Chiropractic education and is very motivated in continuing his personal and professional development, having also completed a GAICD earlier this year. Harley sits as a director on the CAASA board and has also served as a director on the Chiropractor's Association of Australia National (CAAN) board.
Dr. Michael Parnell
Michael was born and raised in Melbourne, Matriculating from Kew High School. He represented his school in both Athletics and Volleyball as well as being a member of the Victorian State under 18 Volleyball Team.
After a chance introduction to Chiropractic, niggling sports injuries that were constantly present disappeared. Michael decided to study chiropractic.
Michael moved to Adelaide in 1983, stayed, and raised a family, being very involved in the rearing of his children and for many years the main care giver.
Since Graduation, Michael has maintained ongoing study. In particular he has worked to develop skills with gentle low force Chiropractic techniques as well as more traditional manual work. Of special interest to him is posture, core muscle activation and their involvement in recurring and chronic conditions.
His love for the outdoors has never waned and as well as precious time in his own garden, he has periodically shared his work life between Chiropractic and gardening/grounds maintenance. He believes that being familiar with physical work, tools, machinery and the hospitality industry has enhanced his understanding of the needs and requirements of many clients.
Massage Therapy allows me to help people and work within a lifestyle that keeps me healthy and active. I have had experience working multiple years in chiropractic and wellness clinics, sporting venues and resorts.
Massage and Healing has always been part of my life and I aim to continue my study of the Human Body and technologies that assist our service. My style of massage is designed to suit the client. Massage techniques range from relaxation to sports massage including muscle, joint rehabilitation and maintenance.
My aim is to make each client feel like they are achieving better health and receiving an excellent professional service.
Caspian has graduated from Endeavour College of Natural Health with a diploma of Remedial Massage. The techniques used in a treatment include, sports massage, deep tissue massage, myofacial release and stretching. These techniques facilitate relaxing and lengthening of restricted muscles and connective tissue within the body, and promote good circulation and range of movement.
His purpose within a treatment is to assist the client to develop a deeper relationship with and understanding of their body, which leads to pain free movement in every day life.
Caspian is currently studying Accupuncture.
After a 25 year career in the fields of medical pathology testing and forensic science, Lynn embarked on a change in direction in 1995. She initially studied Clinical Hypnosis, Psychotherapy and Counselling and in 2000, she completed her studies in Naturopathy and Clinic Nutrition.
Lynn has a burning passion to help people take control of their health by learning to eat well and think well. She ascribes to the philosophy that any disease state has 3 contributing factors; depleted nutrition, overload of toxins and stress. The body knows how to heal itself and when the toxins are removed, the nutritional pantry is restored and stress is dealt with, the body can get on with the job of repairing itself.
Lyn specializes in weight loss, restoration of hormone balance, digestive disorders, dietary advice, counselling, stress management and fertility.
Practice Manager / Chiropractic Assistant
Joy started working at Morphett Vale Chiropractic in 2000 as an Chiropractic Assistant.
She has been working in the chiropractic industry since the early 1980's. South Australia country and Queensland before moving to Adelaide to raise her family. In 2000 she completed the Chiropractic Assistants Course through RMIT University Melbourne Distant Education Program.
Joy enjoys all aspect of her work with David and the team at Morphett Vale Chiropractic and believes strongly in natural health care.
Receptionist / Chiriopractic Assistant
Lea's original career was in beauty therapies and hairdressing, training in Sydney. Chemical allergies forced her to find natural ways to help her clients in this industry. A career change in her early 20's led her to 20 years in the hospitality industry, working, developing and managing restaurants on the Fleurieu Peninsula. After marrying David in 2008, she has welcomed another career change, helping David at Morphett Vale Chiropractic.
Receptionist / Chiropractic Assistant
Before coming to Morphett Vale Chiropractic in 2013, Barb worked for many years in a general medical practice. Working at Morphett Vale Chiropractic & Wellness has given her the opportunity to continue to work in health related environment, with continued contact to patients and clients, in a front desk capacity which she finds very enjoyable and rewarding.
